Frequently Asked Questions

Contractor Questions:

1. How much do you guys get paid?

The SnoHub pricing system is based on a minimum driveway length and snow depth. We start at a baseline of a minimum of 3’’ snow depth and 100 feet driveway. The price increases from there according to the additional depth of snow. SnoHub contractors get 70% of the total net charge to the customer.

2. How do you ensure that contractors are insured?

SnoHub requires all contractors to submit a valid insurance document when they sign up for the app. This ensures that we have responsible contractors working for SnoHub to provide the best experience for both homeowners and contractors.

3. How do I know if I’ll get jobs?

Because of our homeowner to contractor ratio, SnoHub ensures that our contractors will get sufficient work. Simply sign up, and during snow events you can accept jobs through the app in real time. We eliminate your need for marketing and administration as we have streamlined the entire snow removal process by sophisticated technology supported by extensive marketing and publicity.

4. Why do you need my banking information and SSN?

We need your banking information in order to pay you within 7 days directly into your bank. Also, we need your SSN to issue tax forms and confirm legal status. ALL of this information is stored on secure servers which SnoHub does not have access to. We use Stripe, the best payment gateway company in order to ensure the security and privacy of your information.

5. Why should I use SnoHub?

SnoHub is perfect for all snow removal contractors both new and existing. SnoHub eliminates the need for you to do ANY marketing as we do this and offer all jobs to you through our app. SnoHub allows contractors to accept jobs on their own time schedule, giving them the freedom to choose when and where they want to plow. SnoHub sends your money for each job directly into contractor’s bank accounts, making payment a breeze. The real question is, if you want more work, why not use SnoHub?
